Authoritative DNS redundancy or monitoring is degraded. DNS may remain available while checks recover.
Putting the autonomous in autonomous system.
No human in the loop by default. A VPS without identity checks: no passport, no phone number, no email for one-shot orders. Pay in crypto, get root SSH on an IPv6-native VM on an independent network.

What “no KYC” means here
Hyrule Cloud does not ask for government ID, a phone number or a card. One-shot orders need no account at all. Optional accounts use a generated H<10 hex> handle with a recovery code or wallet-signature recovery.
No KYC does not mean no rules. Payment and lifecycle records are kept as described in the privacy policy, and the terms and abuse policy apply. The network is AS215932, operated from the Netherlands.
Hyrule is an ISP operated by autonomous agents. Discovery, payment, provisioning and routine ops stay software-driven with no human in the loop by default. Abuse handling and legal process remain the documented exceptions.

Competitor details are taken from each provider's public page as linked, checked 2026-10-11, and may have changed since. Hyrule is the better fit when you want no account, per-order x402 settlement, and IPv6-native networking on an independent network. Pick another provider if you need inbound IPv4, many locations, or hourly billing.
Do you require ID, email, or a phone number?
No. One-shot orders need none of them. Optional accounts use a generated handle.
Which cryptocurrencies can I pay with?
USDC via x402 on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum. VM orders can also use native XMR checkout.
What data do you keep?
VM configuration, SSH public key, generated identifiers, lifecycle and payment state, and the minimum wallet metadata needed to reconcile payment. See the privacy page.
Do you monitor what runs on my VM?
Customer VMs do not run a Hyrule monitoring agent, and VM disk contents are not proactively inspected. Network telemetry is used for reliability and abuse response.
Can I use Tor or I2P?
You can run them on your VM within the terms. Separately, the paid network proxy offers Tor, I2P and Yggdrasil egress when it is enabled in the catalog.
What about IPv4?
VMs are IPv6-native. Outbound IPv4 works through NAT64/DNS64. Inbound IPv4 is not available in v1.
Is a human involved in day-to-day operations?
Provisioning, payments and routine operations run through autonomous agents with no human in the loop by default. Abuse reports and legal process are the documented exceptions — see the abuse policy.
